6 tips for looking for beauty indoors

Are you one of the many photographers trapped at home? In this way, you finally have the opportunity to edit the old photos to show different effects. Maybe you have considered shooting at home, but don’t know where to start. If so, I want to give you some tips.

  1. Finding beauty in everyday objects

Because I am limited to shooting at home, I think the most interesting things I can think of are shoes, candies, rubber ducks, records and even cleaning utensils. Use these to shoot the ghost horse effect.

look for any object you find interesting. Whether it’s a limited edition action figure, grandma’s teapot or toothbrush. Shoot like a priceless diamond.

   needs attention:

-focus on the things that attract you.

-Use the best lighting you can find: daylight or artificial light. Many of my previous shots have used flexible lamps.

-Create a good, clean background for your objects. It can be anything, such as sheets, carpets, walls, floors, tables or wrapping paper you like.

-Make sure to get rid of all distracting objects in the scene.

  2. When shooting indoors, clothes are your best friends. They can be used as a background. As you can see in this photo, I used a T-shirt to put my astronaut rubber duck in space:

  3. If you can’t go out, even if there is no garden or balcony, you can still create an exterior appearance. Just include the sky in the photo through the window. This is what I did here:

  4. Be your own model. If you live with other people or pets, then you have a great subject. However, if you are alone, or your partner is unwilling to appear, you can take a picture of yourself, as I did for this photo:

  5. Elevate to a new level

You can build a complete story world on the dining table. You can create chaos, you can take the path of simplicity or abstraction. The possibilities are endless. If you end up taking pictures indoors and spend some money, my suggestion is to buy a photography tent. With just one switch, it can provide you with a clean background under instant bright light. You can start shooting immediately.

  6. Taking challenge as the theme

If you find that you have too many ideas, you can define the theme for yourself as a challenge, such as: close-up shots, low ISO, rule of thirds, color challenge, opposition, lighting effects, food, Angle, shape, number, singular, perspective, black and white, upside down, fake or real, free, powerful composition.
