Hasselblad launches HX Reducer 0.8 to unlock HC/HCD lens

Hasselblad X and 907X systems use 44*33mm sensors The format of the camera system is smaller than that of a traditional medium format camera. Even if the XH lens adapter ring is used, the advantages of the large image field of the HC/HCD lens cannot be used. The newly launched HX defocus lens 0.8 is different. It has built-in optical lenses, which can reduce the focal length of the lens to 0.8 times while increasing 2/3 gears. If the adapter is HC f/2.2 100mm, the focal length becomes 80mm. The aperture is expanded to f/1.8, becoming the original lens with the largest aperture in the X and 907X systems. When the HCD f/4.8 24mm lens is switched, the lens specification becomes f/3.8 19mm lens, which is even higher than the original XCD f/4 21mm lens wide.

According to the official description of Hasselblad, when switching the H system lens, the contrast and sharpness from the center to the edge of the image have improved the optical performance of the original lens.

HX Reducer 0.8 is compatible with 12 H system lenses, but you need to upgrade the lens with firmware version 18.0.0 or above to version 19.1.0 firmware to get the autofocus capability. In addition, X1D-50c needs to be upgraded To firmware version 1.25.0 or above, the X1D II 50C/907X 50C/907 limited edition needs to be upgraded to firmware version 1.4.0 or above.
