Sony launches new tools, the first 35 cameras can be used as webcams

has been confirmed so far Sony models that support using the camera as a webcam include the new Alpha 7S III, vlogging ZV-1 and Alpha 99 MkII. The webcam is compatible with Windows 10 devices and can be connected via USB. It will need to be set to automatic mode, then movie mode, and start the live broadcast application.

Like other camera manufacturers’ utilities, Sony’s app allows users to take advantage of the company’s high-resolution image quality and top autofocus, as well as A feature set of compatible cameras. But the Imaging Edge Webcam tool cannot process audio, so you need to use your computer’s microphone or connect an external microphone.
