1, animal detection autofocus can automatically focus on the face and/or eyes of cats or dogs

animal detection autofocus can be Auto focus on the face and/or eyes of cats or dogs. Animal detection auto focus has added support for detecting the faces and eyes of cats and dogs. When the faces or eyes of multiple animals are detected, the user can use the left and right indicators to select the face or eyes the camera should focus on. Animal face detection is limited to video recording.

  2. Improve the maneuverability of subject tracking autofocus

Improve subject tracking performance when taking photos in AF-C mode, making the operation feel similar to the built-in 3D tracking function of digital SLR cameras. When you press the shutter-release button halfway or hold down the AF-ON button, the camera will track the subject. When the user removes the finger from the button, the subject tracking ends, and the focus point selected before the subject tracking starts is activated again, thereby improving operability. In addition, you can specify the switch between the auto-area AF display and the subject selection display for custom settings. All of this improves the object tracking operation and makes it easier to activate and change the target object when looking through the viewfinder.

  3. CFexpress memory card compatibility

In addition to Sony CFexpress memory cards, Z7/Z6 firmware version 3.00 also supports Type B CFexpress cards made by ProGrade and Lexar.

New firmware version 1.10 for Nikon Z50 camera

Modify the focus mode of recording selfies in video mode. When recording a selfie in video mode, the focus mode is locked to AF-S mode. After the firmware is updated to version 1.10, the focus mode will be locked to AF-F mode. The specification changes allow the camera to maintain focus on the user’s face while recording video, improving operability.
