The classic comes to an end, Nikon announces the official discontinuation of D610 and D810
Nikon D610 and D810 were released in 2013 and 2014 respectively. The former is equipped with a 24.26 million pixel full-frame sensor, while the latter is equipped with a 36.35 million pixel full-frame sensor. These two cameras are of great significance for both Nikon and the entire imaging industry. However, according to foreign media reports, Nikon has officially announced the discontinuation of D610 and D810.
Nikon Japan official website Discontinued product page
On the discontinued product page of Nikon Japan’s official website, it can be seen that Nikon has included D610 and D810 in the discontinued products. In external e-commerce stores, D610 is still on sale, while D810 indicates that it has been sold out.
Editor’s point of view
These two cameras have indeed been years since they were released, and they are still slightly inferior to the newer models in terms of parameters and performance. And now there are new cameras that are updated and can provide better performance. However, for users with relatively tight budgets, I believe that the future will be a good time to hunt down.
